Do you know what a NOUN is ?

 

A noun can be:

 

Name of a person - Tom / Katherine / police / nurse

Name of an animal - Horse / Cat

Name of a place - London / Manchester

Name of a thing - table / pencil

Name of an idea/subject - Technology / Science

 

Plural nouns

 

Normally you can-

 

Add s / es at the end when a noun becomes plural

 

Dog - Dogs

Watch - watches

 

Sometimes when a noun ends in Y / F you would change the word differently.

 

Army - Armies

Leaf - Leaves

 

But not always

 

Boy / Boys

 

Uncountable Nouns

 

Some nouns you never need to add anything because it doesn't have a plural form,

For example:

 

Air

Money

Water

Cheese
